EMDRIA-Approved Consultation
I am recognized by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA™) as both an EMDRIA Certified Therapist™ and EMDRIA Approved Consultant™ and I offer consultation for EMDR Basic Training, EMDRIA Certification, and EMDRIA-Approved Consultancy, as well as ad hoc consultation for EMDR therapists seeking guidance on complex cases or skill refinement. My approach to consultation is rooted in the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) Model and the EMDR standard protocol, integrating specialized protocols as needed. I strive to create a supportive and engaging space where questions and mistakes are welcomed, and where feedback is clear, practical, and—when appropriate—accompanied by a corny joke or two. My goal is to help consultees navigate the unique challenges of each client-therapist relationship with confidence and clarity.
My clinical and consultation expertise is deeply focused on Complex PTSD, Dissociation, and Attachment Trauma. I have completed extensive advanced EMDR trainings in these areas, along with other trauma-related conditions. The advanced protocols in which I am highly trained include R-TEP & G-TEP, When There Are No Words, The Progressive Approach, and Feeling-State Theory, regularly implementing them in the treatment of preverbal trauma, behavioral addictions, and dissociation, As a Certified Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapist, I also provide consultation for practitioners integrating EMDR Therapy into Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) treatment plans.
